Role Description The Finance Manager (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the financial health and operations of Healthstar Physicians Family Practice. Day-to-day tasks include budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance, as well as preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. The individual will manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure accurate general ledger entries, and support cash flow management. The Finance Manager will also help maintain compliance with healthcare and financial regulations, coordinate with external auditors or consultants as needed, and provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making. Collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to optimize financial processes and support practice growth will be an important part of this remote position.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and month-end closing processes.
• Ability to analyze financial data, interpret trends, and present clear recommendations to leadership.
• Experience with financial software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., accounting systems, Excel, or similar programs).
• Familiarity with healthcare or medical practice financial operations, billing, and regulatory considerations is beneficial.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA, CMA) are a plus. xhyhwjd
