Crew SchedulerJob location: Provo, UTReports to: Director of OperationsJob purpose: Alpine Air is currently seeking a Crew Scheduler to be located at their Provo, UT company site. The Crew Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling flight crew to ensure optimal productivity and regulatory compliance, during 24 hour cargo operations across the United States.Duties and responsibilities: The selected applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:Create and manage flight and ground crew schedulesCoordinate crew availability for charter/ad-hoc routesEnsure all flights are staffed in compliance with company and regulatory requirementsMonitor crew schedules to ensure optimal productivityCommunicate with crew members about their schedulesTrack and manage crew qualifications and training requirementsCoordinate with other departments as necessary to address scheduling issuesRespond to operational disruptions and re-schedule crew as necessaryObserve safety and FAA regulationsAdditional duties as assignedQualifications: Qualifications include:Aviation experience is preferredProven experience in crew scheduling or similar roleRequired to pass background check and pre-employment drug screenExcellent computer skills including inputting data into Excel spreadsheets and using Air Traffic Control software to monitor flightsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailBe a reliable team player, reporting for work on time and ready to assist co-workersHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredWorking conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually low. This position is a Full-Time, in-office position. Schedules are based on operational needs and may include nights and/or weekends.Compensation includes competitive benefits and 401k with generous employer match.
